Midnight Cauldron
Bold. Spiced. Caffeine-free magic.
Something dark and delicious is brewing at The Village Square Apothecary...
Midnight Cauldron is a rich, caffeine-free herbal tea that evokes the feel of moonlit rituals, firelight, and sacred stillness. Crafted with roasted dandelion root, chicory, rooibos, cacao nibs, and a touch of clove, this bold, earthy blend offers deep flavor and gentle stimulation without the buzz of caffeine.
It’s our take on an herbal “hot chocolate”—earthy, slightly bitter, and kissed with warmth. Add your favorite milk or sweetener (think maple, honey, or vanilla oat) to soften the edges and bring out its natural depth.
Perfect for cool nights, journaling by candlelight, or anyone looking for a grounding alternative to coffee or cocoa.
☕ Brewing Instructions:
1 heaping teaspoon per 8 oz cup (or 1 tablespoon for extra richness)
Water temperature: 200–212°F (just-boiled)
Steep time: 6–8 minutes, or longer for a bolder brew
Add milk, cream, or sweetener to taste. Try it as a tea latte for extra indulgence.
🌙 Serving Suggestions:
Serve in a large mug, curled up under a blanket
Ideal for evening rituals, dreamwork, or replacing your late-night coffee habit
Top with frothed milk or a dusting of cinnamon for a cauldron-inspired tea latte
